Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. At Our Lady of the Rosary RC VA Primary, we use this funding to help eligible children achieve their potential, both academically and socially, ensuring support is targeted and effective.
We identify pupils who may be eligible for Pupil Premium and plan support based on individual needs. This may include additional teaching and intervention, small-group support, access to learning resources, and targeted help to address gaps in learning. We also consider wider factors that can affect progress, such as attendance, wellbeing, and access to opportunities.
Parents and carers can be reassured that we monitor the impact of Pupil Premium carefully. We review progress regularly, evaluate what is working, and adjust approaches where necessary.
